Privacy Policy

How we handle information when you use the Tron Legacy website, demo and app.

Last updated: 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Tron Legacy ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information in connection with our website, interactive demo, and mobile application (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Overview

Tron Legacy analyses publicly available blockchain data to produce risk and compliance reports for TRON (TRC20) addresses. The Service is built to require as little personal information as possible. The risk analysis itself concerns public wallet addresses — not your identity.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Contact details you submit through forms (name, email, message and inquiry type).
  • Account details if you register for the app (email, authentication credentials).
  • Addresses or queries you submit for analysis within the app.

Information collected automatically

  • Basic technical data such as device type, browser, approximate region and pages viewed.
  • Aggregated, non-identifying usage metrics to improve the Service.

What we do not collect

  • We do not require government ID, selfies or biometric data to use the core scanning features.
  • The website demo runs entirely in your browser — addresses scanned in the preview are not transmitted to our servers.

3. On-chain data

Blockchain transactions are public by design. When you analyse an address, Tron Legacy processes publicly recorded TRON network data and third-party intelligence sources (such as sanctions lists and abuse databases). This data relates to wallet addresses, which are pseudonymous and not, by themselves, personal data under most frameworks.

4. How we use information

  • To provide, operate and improve the Service and its risk reports.
  • To respond to inquiries and provide support.
  • To maintain security, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.
  • To communicate product updates where you have opted in.

5. Cookies & analytics

We use a minimal set of cookies and privacy-respecting analytics to keep the Service running and understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. We do not sell your data or use it for cross-site advertising.

6. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with:

  • Service providers (hosting, analytics, communications) bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Authorities where required by law, regulation or valid legal process.
  • A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition or asset sale.

7. Data retention

We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law. Enterprise customers may request zero-retention processing for screening queries. Contact data is kept until you ask us to delete it.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

9. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures — encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring — to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your data.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, through additional notice.
